While deceased [American, British, ANZ and Canadian] soldiers are evacuated from the battle area in body bags, their remains -- after necessary mortuary services are completed in the theater of operations -- are returned to their respective home countries in caskets, not in body bags. PS: "body bags" are "body bags;" no euphemism, so that term sounds like an item in a novel.
Hope this helps.
Khair, in shaa' Allah.
