يطلق لقب Power Plant على المجموعة التى تتكون من المحرك وصندوق التروس ومولد التيار المتناوب الذي يستخدم في تغذية البطارية وكذلك بادئ الحركة "االمارش" الذي يتسبب في بدء دوران المحرك ومحول العزم "في الدبابات" وكل ما يؤدي إلى تحريك المعدة وتكون تلك الوحدة في الغالب مجموعة في وحدة واحدة يمكن فكها للقيام باعمال الصيانة الدورية والإصلاح.
