Dear all,

what is the meaning of "compromise" in the following example:

A - He knows where it is and now he’s putting together a team to steal it from the Indonesians.

B - Indonesian officials deny their intelligence has been compromised.

C - What else could they say?

I know only 2 meanings for the word: (true identity revealed - and a solution that pleases all the parties)

Could it be تنازل ?
