consesus democracy Explanation: this is the type of democracy that requires that the election cannot take place until the name of the candidate is agreed upon by all the paries. Consensus democracy is a pretty name for what is happening in Lebanon where the election of the president cannot proceed without first all the parties agree on a single candidate. |
