Greetings,

I was recently talking to a lady from Lebanon and she used an expression containing a word that sounded like بال (baal) to say, “Do you remember?”

What might that expression be, please? Is it colloquial Lebanese or Modern Standard Arabic or both?

يخطر/ييجي ع بالك

Explanation:
يخطر/ييجي ع بالك means "comes to mind"
