The footnote of a "Guidance for verification documentation process" form read: "Please note, this is a Controlled Document."

Can I simply translate "controlled document" as وثيقة / نسخة مضبوطة, or does the latter term have a different meaning in Arabic?

A "controlled document" is a "reference document which, through the course of its lifecycle may be reviewed, modified and distributed several times."

Given the definition above, wouldn't be better to translate as نسخة مرجعية قابلة للتنقيح?

I would like to know your thoughts on this.
