The expression أنواع الخطوط is suitable when we are talking about the art of calligraphy. For instance, in Arabic, the traditional styles include

النسخ، الثلث، الريحاني، الديواني، الفارسي، الكوفي، المائل، الخ

\"Typface\" refers to a design of a complete set of letters to be used in printing. The typface design is certainly based on some calligraphic style, but the word \"typface\" refers to calligraphy only indirectly.
