|English term or phrase: seal of the people of the house|
|need arabic translation|
خاتم أهل البيت
Pronounced: KHATIM AHL AL-BAYT.
Again, since no context was provided, the translation suggested is plain and straightforward, and can be used in any context.
The phrase, however, is very suggestive of an Arabic phrase that is rarely used to refer to Al-Imam Al-Hujja Muhammad Al-Mahdi, the twelfth Shi’i imam. He is often referred to as KHATIM AL-A'IMMA, just as the Prophet Muhammad is referred to as KHATIM AL-ANBIYA'.
In this context, "People of the House" are immediate family and descendants of the Prophet Muhammad.
As I said, even if this was not your context, the translation stands.
