Another answer from the dictionary of Scietific and Tech. terms Explanation: Parametric = بارامتري = parametri example: Parametric amplifier = مضخم بارامتري: متغير المفاعلة والفلطية = muddakhkhim parametri, mutaghayyer al-mufa'ala wal voltiyah. Explanation: Daniel, while the context is a little terse, but based on your previous questions about laboratories and your description of this as a scientific term, I assume you are referring to laboratory experiments. Furthermore, you refer to an experiment that has a set of parameters, and which consists of several tests, in each test the values of the parameters are changed to see how they affect the outcome. A typical example is the infamous litmus test, the changing parameter is the solution. If the litmus paper is dipped in acid, its color turns red, if it is dipped in alkali, it turns blue. If all of the above is consistent with your context, you can use several expressions of parametric (as in paramteric experiment): متغيرة العوامل mutaghairrat-il'awamil i.e. with changing parameters ذات عوامل متغيرة zhaati 'awamila mutaghairrah - same meaning A more accurate but wordy alternative is: متغيرة بحسب العوامل mutaghairrah biHasmi-l'awamil - i.e. that changes depending on the parameters Hope this helps.
