Dear all,

In the field of Skiing and snowboarding, what is the exact meaning of the word line? It getting repeated and whenever I feel I got it, I found that I was wrong! Here are some contexts where the word "line" is mentioned in the episode:

1- [Hausl delivers the goods with a high-flying run. He charges down an original line at top speed]
[He manages to get good snow throughout this run and it will pay-off with the judges, who look closely at choice of line as one of their criteria.]

2- [I really wanted to choose a quick line and kick it off well. I wasn't quite sure if I would nail a straight air on skier's left]
