English to Arabic translations [Non-PRO] Sports / Fitness / Recreation / Name of children's playground game | | English term or phrase: Tag | I'm editing a vocabulary list for English-learning resources for speakers of Arabic. It includes the word "tag" which is a game with one or more players chasing other players in an attempt to tag or touch them, usually with their fingers. When you are touched, you are "it" and it is your turn to chase/tag the others. There are many variations, and it is also known in the English speaking world as tip, tick, tig, tiggy, dobby, it & chasey (acc. to Wikipedia)
I presume Arabic speaking kids play this too. What is it called?
Thank you! |
