English to Basque translations [PRO]
English term or phrase: one, two, three, four etc up to ten
I'm researching shepherd's counting systems which do not seem to be related to IndoEuropean languages - for example, the Scottish shepherds' word for "one" is "zeendi". What is the origin of this word? Old Welsh as source, as frequently cited, is not the case.
