English to Bengali translations [PRO]
Other / Tutorial | | English term or phrase: Teach yourself colloquial Bengali for beginners with answer keys | This is the name of a book "Teach yourself colloquial Bengali for beginners with answer keys" where "teach yourself" is not a verb + pronoun, but a phase with indicates 'Tutorial", "Self-teacher" or any textbook for learning Bengali without any teacher and with answer keys at the end of the book.
I think পাঠ্যপুস্তক is a textbook which is used when studying with a teacher, not "teach yourself" (self-teacher), so I cannot say চলিত বাংলা পাঠ্যপুস্তক...
So how would you say "Teach yourself colloquial Bengali for beginners with answer keys"? |

Dear Asker, yes obviously there are books like this in Bengali, end those books usually include the words শিক্ষা, শিখি, শিখুন etc. Words like পাঠ্যপুস্তক, or any synonym like শিক্ষা-সহায়িকা, are not usually used in such cases.

Asker: thank you for your answer. but I've mentioned that I don't need it to be translated literally. I just need a synonym of the word পাঠ্যপুস্তক, but with the meaning of tutorial, self-teacher or whichever book is called for studying without a teacher. I can't believe there's no such books in Bengal. I do need the term of book itself, not literal translation.
Asker: Dear Answerer, if such books with the words শিক্ষা, শিখি, শিখুন etc. exist, can you please give me a link to any book which name contains শিক্ষা, শিখি or শিখুন (may be at ebay, amazon sites etc.)?
