Sure. I have some Bosnian family members, and I would like my son to be able to communicate with them in Bosanski itself. Although English serves as a common ground for everyone, I believe that one cannot truly identify with and feel close to a group of people unless he/she speaks their language. I manage to speak in Bosanski with friends and relatives, but my grammar is poor and I don't want to teach my son incorrectly. I am deeply thankful to everyone who has been answering my questions. |
