Asker: Става въпрос за извършване на одит на Група. Фирмите в тази група са с местоположение в различни държави. Тук фирмата избрана за одитор на Групата казва, че може да извършва посещения и пр. на тези фирми, като същевременно одитите на отделните фирми в групата ще се провеждат от отделни местни одитори/одиторски фирми, които нямат нищо общо с основния одитор за Групата (малко заплетено го обясних, за което се извинявам)

Не, не мисля, че component просто трябва да си остане компонент. Вижте дефиницията: "Management responsible for preparing the financial information of a component.""

Финансови отчети не се изготвят за компоненти, а за компании, т.е. компаниите, които са част от групата. В този смисъл тези компании са като компоненти, защото са част от едно цяло.

Относно "Units / Locations /Entities / Components]", трябва да се види според контекста как да се преведат останалите, а също как са дефинирали "entities".
