Според литературата бетонните пилоти биват наливни или изливни (които се изливат на място) и набивни или забивни (които се изливат в заводски условия и на място само се набиват в земята).

В материала от Wikipedia се казва ясно: "Deep foundations can be installed by either driving them into the ground or drilling a shaft and filling it with concrete, mass or reinforced." И по-нататък в "Drilled piles": "Upon reaching the design depth, a reinforcing cage is introduced, concrete is poured in the bore and brought up to the required level."

Reference information:
Бетонните пилоти, които се изливат на място се изработват по различни технологии, които имат различни наименования на английски. В референцията са приведени три. Първата описана в референцията е CFA (SOB) technology - произведените по тази технология пилоти на български се наричат "CFA-пилоти", съгласно референцията в дадения отговор. Втората - Cased-in drilled pile. Третата - Omega and CMC (soil-displacement) piling.
