chaser - Something you drink right after taking a shot or swig of hard alcohol.. Usually juice, pop, or beer.

Ta 'чейсърът' може да не е задължително бира. Зависи от много работи, но най-вече от конкретния контекст.

Дефиницията на думата по-горе е от Urban Dictionary. Погледнете и в други по-обемни речници, за да видите, че chaser не е задължително да бъде алкохолна напитка.

В интерес на истината, в британския английски chaser се възприема по-скоро за алкохолна напитка, докато в САЩ може да бъде и безалкохолна. Затова и писах по-горе, че всичко зависи от много неща - повече контекст, с какъвто не разполагаме, кой е писал въпросният текст, както и от спецификата на повествованието, навиците и привичките на 'главните ни герои' в случая - момчетата.
