CONTEXT: "Since the late 1950s, aerospace engineers have used the term "unobtainium" when referring to unusual, very costly or UN-obtainable materials."

Explanation:
I would suggest the logical adaptation "inobtenibli" (from "inobtenible"), but that would be coining a new word myself. If you don't want to use the English word, then I fear the only alternative is a descriptive translation.

But I think "inobtenibli" sounds much better! ;)
