黃金國（西班牙文：El Dorado）為一傳說，始於一個全身披滿金粉的南美部落族長的故事。
據考古和歷史學者的研究，可能的遺址是在現今南美秘魯高原一處叫庫斯科（Guzco）的地方，庫斯科曾經是南美洲大陸，印加帝國的首都，於1532年遭受西班牙軍隊蹂躪，原有的印加建築全遭毀滅，唯能從被歲月磨得光滑凹陷的石板路上，找到些從前的昌盛。
我认为可以两种处理方法：
第一种是音译，然后加注解，解释埃尔多拉多(另有埃尔拉多的译法)是理想中的黄金国；
另一种是意译，处理为宝库。
