Explanation:
为避免歧义，“苏打液”应较精确些。虽然含有酸根，由于是强碱与弱酸反应后的产物，因而碳酸钠是一种碱，俗称为“苏打”（即“soda”）。与烧碱或苛性纳相比，其碱性要弱许多。此处的liquid soda并非是呈液态的纯苏打，而是一定浓度的苏打液，或苏打溶液，一般分为工业用、家用去污用和医用（保健用）等几种。常在美国商店里见到的liquid soda是清洗厕所用的苏打液，即碱水。在美国时，确曾有国内同学初到时不了解情况，本想要自己发馒头，于是到商店买了一瓶liquid soda，回来仔细一看才明白原来是涮厕所用的，一时传为笑谈。其实，发馒头用的是“小苏打”，即碳酸氢钠，日常生活中所说的“碱面儿”便是，其水溶液碱性比苏打要弱些，当然也可用来去污。
