English to Chinese translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Computers: Software / Website UI command | | English term or phrase: invalidate entry | 这里的invalidate entry看样子是网站界面上的一条命令，我觉得和软件界面上的命令类似，所以这个问题放在“computer:software”类目下。
invalidate的一般意思是使...无效、使...失效，entry一般可译为“条目”。
如果在句子里，译为“使条目无效”似乎也没什么问题。现在客户给的这个词看样子是网页上的一个按钮。如果也译为“使条目无效”似乎总觉得不太对劲。一般这种格式的命令名中译时都写为“动+名”或“动”或“名”，比如“禁用条目”、“取消条目”。“禁用”和“取消”在意思上看起来比较像，但各自也有对应的英文。
我本人更希望有一个“动+名”形式的翻译。
