the South: 南部非洲、南半球、南部。。。？

This word doesn't appear elsewhere in the text. I personally tend to choose 南部非洲（地区）. Would love to have your opinions. Tks!

Explanation:
由于是联合国认定，应该就是“南南合作”所指的第三世界国家。由于第三世界不发达国家多数位于南半球，故名。
