I found more references with 技术创新 than with 技术革新(that seems the proper translation). Which is the best and the most used?

Asker: well, I agree, it's also my personal opinion but actually most of the dictionaries use 革新, this is why I asked the question.

agree  hhyin09: i agree. 技术革新 sounds much more significant than 技术创新. to say that a company is specialized in 技术革新 implies that this company always brings revolutionary changes to its field, which does not seem plausible. 技术创新 is more appropriate in this context i think.

-> Thx! Actually, “革" means to remove or kill (somtimes for/before sth. new is established). But I would considered "革新" together as a phrase which involves more reform, while 创新 is definitely a creation from scratch, as Henry put, more original creativity.

技术创新

Explanation:
Both are fine, I would use "技术创新".
技术革新:

技术创新:
“创” means "创造“, to create. "创新“ requires originality.
That's my two cents.
