I don't think "beautiful" should be translated literally in this sentence, and certainly not in the "attractive" sense. I think pkchan's suggestion is more plausible. Thanks to all of you!

Daisy Zhu: "美丽动人" makes one think of a beautiful young girl. Suggest ‘美丽感人’。Touching is better translated as '感人‘。
