Shirley, thanks for the link. I agree with all of the participants in that forum thread. It sounds like the insurance would not cover any costs incurred with a surrogate pregnancy if the surrogate mother is not the one insured (thus "provided to any person not covered") but would cover the costs if the SM is the one insured under "the Agreement". But yes, it is indeed a confusingly worded sentence. I just personally feel that if it is meant any other way, the sentence's grammar would be too strange and doesn't sound natural. Leave it up to the insurance companies to make a simple sentence confusing. |
