English to Chinese translations [Non-PRO]

item 在这个项目中基本上是指的用户发布的一条内容。item的标准IT译法是“项目”，但我总觉得“Dallas Cao在facebook发布了一个项目“这样的句子没有好的用户体验，会让人误解成”one project"。另外一位合作译者同事又希望将item和entry使用不同的译法（大部分时候item和entry指的是同一个东西），请问各位有何高招？
