English to Chinese translations [PRO] IT (Information Technology) | | English term or phrase: do so in an ever-shrinking business window | For many organizations, the ability to anticipate changes in the business environment and even be out in front of them is the greatest benefit to consolidation. The IT center sees not only a growing number of applications but also increasing interdependence among them. In a distributed environment, applications are spread among departments and often do not offer the necessary levels of interoperability. Data may be shared synchronously (e.g., through a remote procedure call [RPC]) or asynchronously (batch updates from various applications). IT centers are constrained by their ability to make and extend these relationships and do so in an ever-shrinking business window.
