English term or phrase:browser business as usual is courting disaster
KNOW THINE ENEMY BY KEEPING ABREAST OF ATTACK VECTORS AND TRENDS:
With phishing and related criminal activity producing 11,000 new illicit sites per month, according to the APWG, {browser business as usual is courting disaster}. The APWG membership includes not only security vendors, like Internet Security Systems, McAfee, Kaspersky Lab and Symantec, but also Adobe Systems, Cisco Systems, Microsoft and Trend Micro. In a rare display of collaboration, over a year ago the group began to address the problem of criminal activity targeting browsers. APWG provides a phishing reporting tool, a meeting calendar and e-crime trend numbers on its Web site to keep IT informed of security hotspots.
become a slogan for the rest of World War I. Today it may be used in this positve sense and also pejoratively, as in Never mind that most civilians are starving to death--the ministry regards its job to be business as usual.
我到现在都无法肯定应该是browser business [as usual] is courting disaster还是browser [business as usual] is courting disaster。 If your enterprise is considering running critical applications on Firefox and IE, are you courting disaster?
establishment was continuing to operate in spite of fire, construction, or some similar interruption. it had been extended to broader use by 1914, when winston Churchill said in a speech: " The maxim of the British people is "business as usual," which
yes, let a have a look at the exat meaning of "business as usual", the normal course of some activity, as in The fir destroyed only a small section of the store, so it's business as usual. the term orginated as an announcement that a commercial
"As usual" means As commonly or habitually happens. For example, As usual, I slept late that Saturday morning. This sentence is quoted form American Heritage Dictionary. It is clear that "as usual "can be placed at the beginning of the sentence as well.
其实前面的“If your enterprise is considering running critical applications on FIREFOX or IE.....”
If your enterprise is considering running critical applications on Firefox and IE, are you courting disaster? We examine the latest in browser security, such as antiphishing technology and validation certificates, to help keep your data safe.
我怀疑browser business as usual is courting disaster这一句,应当断成business as usual(与往常一样), browser is courting disaster.
