不方便法院原则(doctrine of forum non convenience)是英美法系国家具有广泛自由裁量性质的一项原则,即法院在处理民商事案件时,尽管其本身对案件具有管辖权,也是正确的审判地点,但如果法院发现其是审理案件的不适当法院或在对岸有审理案件的适当法院,法院有权使用自由裁量权拒绝行使管辖权。
