These both are articles about Cult Cars. In which case 膜拜 or 邪教 or maybe even 崇拜 would be an accurate adjective, whereas Cult = 风靡一时的, in a sense. An example below...
Her books aren't bestsellers, but they have a certain cult following.
她的书算不上畅销书,但有一定的崇拜者。
膜拜系列 or 邪教系列 may describe a series. But even in English, I've never seen "Cult series" used aside from describing a TV series. Google it to see what i mean. Cult is used in the sense above though in this context.
