English term or phrase: balance
This appears in an instruction to the interviewer in a telephone questionnaire. It asks the interviewer to “monitor for balance”. Is there a standard term for “balance” in this context? Thanks!

Explanation:

Explanation:
If this position is a financial related job, it most likely means monitoring the "account" balance or "budget" balance.

Asker: No, this is not financial and is not in any of the questions asked. It is part of an instruction to the interviewer, presumably to “balance” the samples (?).
