I believe 臨界值 is good enough. "分配" is the Chinese translation for "Distribution" used for traditional Chinese. "Distribution" is translated as 分布 in Mainland China.

Yes, the uncertainty regarding statistics does have differences from the common used term. Thanks for your note, I noticed that the uncertainty here is in some way attributed by confidence intervals. As all preceding factors(mean, standard deviation, skewness, kurtosis and random sampling error which i did not mention in the post) can be the source of uncertainty, four of which are uncertain, the random sampling error must be the dominant source of uncertainty.

I believe the "factor" has to do with the confidence level. You have to look up a statistical table (e.g. t-distribution) for this factor, which is determined by the confidence level (e.g. 95% or 99%) and the degree of freedom.
