P70rsk activates ribosome biosynthesis by phosphorylating the ribosomal S6 protein, producing increased translation of mRNAs with a 5'-terminal oligopyrimidine tract. P70rsk also requires a second PtdIns(3,4,5)P3-dependent phosphorylation, presumably catalysed by PDK1. Phosphorylation of PHAS-1 by mTOR results in its dissociation from eIF-2, allowing cap-dependent translation of mRNAs with a highly structured 58-untranslated region.

“oligopyrimidine tract”似乎翻译为“寡嘧啶区”更好，而非“寡糖嘧啶道”，“tract”有“区域”的意思，类似于“region”。翻译成“道”反而让人不易理解。
mRNAs with a 5'-terminal oligopyrimidine tract，这个结构是“具有……的mRNAs”，介词结构作为后置定语。

　帽状结构翻译途径(Cap-Dependent Translation)。

DAP5对依赖5'帽状结构翻译的调控作用　蛋白质生物合成是遗传信息的翻译过程，包括起始、延伸和终止3个阶段，其中起始阶段是调控的关键。所有真核生物的mRNAs和许多病毒RNAs的5'末端都带有7mGpppN的“帽状”结构，它对RNA剪切、转录、稳定和翻译都有重要的作用。真核生物蛋白质翻译的起始首先需要翻译起始复合物(eIF4F复合物)与mRNA 5'末端的帽状结构结合，进而吸引核糖体到mRNA的5'末端启动翻译[6]。起始因子eIF4F复合物的形成决定着该依赖帽状结构翻译途径(Cap-Dependent Translation)的效率。如图1(略)所示[7]，eIF4F复合物包涵3个亚单位：eIF4A、eIF4E和eIF4G。eIF4A是ATP依赖的RNA解旋酶，能够打开mRNA的二级结构从而允许40S核糖体亚单位结合到mRNA，并扫描起始密码。

由蝦類白點症病毒 (white spot syndrome virus, WSSV) 引起之白點症為目前嚴重威脅全世界養蝦產業之病毒性疾病。基於白點症病毒蛋白質體學及基因體序列分析之研究，在其532個預測之開放譯讀區中，有部分功能已知之非結構性蛋白質及結構性蛋白質基因，在其轉譯終點前後不具有聚腺嘌呤訊號 (AATAAA)，推測可能與其下游之開放譯讀區共用加聚腺嘌呤位置 (poly A addition site) 有關。白點症病毒結構性蛋白質基因wssv396、wssv395及wssv394為同向轉錄基因群 (cluster)，三者之加聚腺嘌呤位置皆位於wssv394基因下游之聚腺嘌呤訊號後第17個核苷酸處，符合真核細胞聚腺嘌呤訊號規則。根據北方雜合法分析結果，此基因群利用wssv396之5’端啟動子 (promoter) 轉錄出包含wssv396、wssv395及wssv394之三基因mRNA (3.4 kb)；wssv394基因之riboprobe尚可偵測到利用其5’端啟動子轉錄之單基因mRNA (1.6 kb)。實驗結果證明wssv396及wssv394基因主要利用帽依賴型轉譯作用 (cap-dependent translation) 合成蛋白質，而位於第二個基因之wssv395係以非帽依賴型轉譯作用即內部核醣體進入位置 (Internal Ribosome Entry Site, IRES)合成蛋白質，推測IRES序列可能位於wssv396基因轉錄區內 (coding region)，關於其確切位置猶待進一步之實驗分析以確認之。
