standard Chinese expression 06:02 May 20, 2008
Prof Projex's translation is the closest. I'm sorry if I was not clear about my question earlier.
It's a scene where a F-16 received an order to launch a missile to shoot down a jet plane. So the F-16 pilot replied, "Arm missile," and "Missile armed." Later, this order was cancelled as the General said, "Off board."
Therefore, if "Arm missile" is translated into 准备发射飞弹, how should I translate "Missile armed"? 「準備好了?」 It sounds too colloquial to me. Are there standard Chinese expressions in this situation for the two English expressions? Thank you again. |
