These are the five basic elements in life and is used in balancing the energies in Feng Shui. It is also listed in the order as I have written it. jin, mu, shui, huo, tu. In Japan, these are used to list the days of the week. In China it is used to list the elements of the eight directions; the colors; numbers; and numeric order.
