Explanation:
Where the number of steers slaughtered in a Member State in a given year exceeds 60% of the total number of male bovine animals slaughtered that year and where the number of steers slaughtered from 1 September to 30 November of a given year exceeds 35% of the total number of steers slaughtered that year, producers may qualify for an additional premium (deseasonalisation premium).
