radi se o krevetu koji je na određenoj visini, kako bi bio uporabljiv ljudima koji se slue invalidskim kolicima. Obični, niski krevet nije dobar jer je iz njega nezgodno ući u kolica, čije sjedalo je na viem nivou od kreveta. U ovom slučaju, "kneetop" označava da je povrina madraca otprilike u visini koljena, to je u tom slučaju pogodno.
