Mada ima primjera da se i u hrvatskom jeziku kod ugovora "third party" navodi kao "treća strana" (gdje su "prva" i "druga" ugovorne strane), pravilnije bi bilo "druge" (tj. one koje nisu ugovorne strane).
Pošto (uglavom) sve tvrtke nastoje prodati, a ako uzmemo da "marketer:=one that deals in a market; specifically : one that promotes or sells a product or service", nema potrebe da se jezički sužava skup kompanija, izuzev ako je kontekstom dato da se npr. radi upravo o drugim marketinškim tvrtkama.
