Thus, the normal time is adjusted by using an allowance factor, to provide a standard time:
ST= NT x AF
where:
ST = standard time
NT = normal time
AF = allowance factor

Vidljiv problem je u tome da je kod množenja nekim faktorom u ovom slučaju rezultat uvijek uvećan za neki postotak, a koeficijenti dopuštenih odstupanja ili su simetrični ili su eksplicite navedeni kao +x/-y. U svakom slučaju, pri mjerenju rada, radi se o prihvatljivom "luftu" za neko izmjereno vrijeme potrebno za izvođenje promatrane operacije. |
