Explanation:
Kao što je kolegica rekla, riječ je o osobama koje nisu još službeno okrivljene za kazneno djelo- ali su pod istragom, odnosno "osumnjičene" su za KD- ali nisu službeno nazvane osumnjičenicima-jer nema dovoljno dokaza.

Explanation:
Našla sam prijevod na njemački - to su osobe koje se još ne smatraju "suspects", dakle još nisu osumnjičenici, ali postoji vjerovatnost da će to postati pa ih policija promatra. Dakle to su osobe za koje policija pokazuje posebno zanimanje, stoga "of interest".

Možda griješim, ali kako sam ja shvatila te osobe nisu još pod nikakvom istragom. One su iz određenih razloga zanimljive policiji koja ih samo promatra. Istrage ili "investigation" je skroz nešto drugo i provodi se kada se već zna da postoji osnovana sumnja u počinjenje kaznenog djela....
