agree  bonafide1313: koncepti JIT, lean, six sigma itd., kao i prijevod "vitka proizvodnja" za lean su po mom mišljenju već udomaćeni u mjeri da ljudi iz struke nemaju dvojbi oko toga što je to "vitka" proizvodnja (slično kao brainstorming-oluja mozgova)

mršava... vitka... tanka... proizvodnja, "lean" proizvodnja ... to sam susretala kod nas kao prijevod... iako tu se radi o sasvim konkretnom konceptu

filozofija "vitke proizvodnje" na sličan je način prenesena i u prijevodima na neke druge strane jezike (schlanke Produktion, produzione snella, manufactura esbelta,...)

Toyota je pionir lean production (vitka proizvodnja), a temeljena na osnovnom načelu kaizena:


vitka proizvodnja:

q manje rada i napora,

q manje proizvodnog prostora,

q manje investicija,

q manje alata,

q manje vremena,

q svega manje.



Uspjeh je ostvariti proizvodni sustav sa eliminacijom nepotrebnih aktivnosti koje ne povećavaju vrijednost. Ima veze i sa pojmom outsourcinga (izmještanje funkcija iz proizvodnje koje nisu bitne za proizvodnju).
