Ili gotovo da ne postoji...

Iako, bilo bi dobro vidjeti kontekst jer lako je moguće da želi reći upravo suprotno. Npr. padanje u provaliju, veliko ništavilo kaže se "running on thin air", pa tako može biti da autor želi reći da se jaz između njih pretvorio u pravu provaliju...
