Definition:
Přední blok je u všech vozů 206 tvořen silně dimenzovanými podélnými nosníky, každý z nich je v přední části opatřen zónou programové deformace v případě nárazu (až do 4,5 t zatížení). Příčný nosník zpevňuje celek přední části v místě předního nárazníku a vertikální uložení motoru uvolňuje absorbční prostor mezi předním čelem a motorem. Uvedené uspořádání se významně podílí na zajištění optimální ochrany cestujících v kabině.
