| | centrální plyn, čisticí plyn | Explanation: centrální plyn, správně "backinggas" čisticí (antikorozní) plyn
Obr. 2. Princip plazmatronu (1 – pracovní plyn, 2 – centrální plyn, 3 – obalový plyn, 4 – přívodní trubka pracovního prášku, 5 – indukční cívka na obalové rouře, 6 – trysk plazmatu)
Why purging or backinggas?
In welding terms purging means to prevent oxidation, which develops during welding. This oxidation develops through contact of oxygen rich air with heated metal and is visible by a variable coloring of the weld, which goes from light brown to dark blue. As a result of the oxidation the corrosion resistance of the weld reduces. Inert gas on the root side is also used to get a smoother and …. Free weld

spíše "backinggas" je "plyn pro ochranu zadní strany" svařovaného dílu
"A backing gas is sometimes used to protect the backside of a workpiece (or the root side of the weld) from oxidation and/or discoloration during welding. Oxidation (discoloration) can affect the corrosion properties of the backside of the weld and its visual appearance"
