English to Czech translations [Non-PRO] Food & Dairy | | English term or phrase: snack | What is the Czech equivalent of snack, as in 'party snacks' (peanuts, cookies, chips, etc.)? It certainly is not 'lehké jídlo', nor 'občerstvení'.
Such an easy word in English, but three Czech native speakers have not been able to come up with a satisfactory translation... |

4 mins confidence: pochutina
Explanation: Well in the context of a party, I'd say something like this.
Otherwise, it can be "občerstvení" indeed....or even "svačina" depending on the context pretty much
