It is a long stick/shaft with a small peg at the end that is used to locate and seat itself to a screw head. The peg fits into the screw head and helps locate and orient the shaft in alignment with the screw. This procedure is done through a small incision in the skin and is kind of a finder to locate the screw since it cannot be seen. |
