Does anybody know the difference between 'rapid-acting insulin' and 'short-acting insulin'? Thanks.

Context: If you are using rapid-acting insulin (XX), however, the rise may even be too slow, resulting in hypoglycaemia within 30-60 minutes. If this applies to you, you should take your XX after your meal, or use regular short-acting insulin when eating pasta (or beans as in chilli con carne).
