Nevím, jak bych správně česky vyjádřila "separations" - jestli to mají být obyčejné separace nebo jsem kdesi našla, že "separations" v polygrafii u barev znamená také "výtažkování". Ale tohle by už asi přece jen chtělo odborníka z obboru. |

sítotiskové tiskárny kornit pro potisk textilií používají 6 tiskových hlav: 4 pro barvy cmyk a 2 pro bílou, takže kromě oddělení barev cmyk vyžadují i dvě separace bílé. zřejmě to souvisí s tím, že pro potisk tmavších textilií je třeba nejdříve vytisknout bílý podklad, na který lze následně tisknout.

Explanation:
to slovo se normalne pouziva v barevnem tisku. V zasade to funguje tak, ze se vezme obrazek, ktery chteji tisknout a rozlozi se na 4 zakladni barvy (CMYK) - to jsou ty channels ve vasi vete. A tohle vsechno, plus 2 bile separace se vytiskne cernou barvou (sic), aby bylo videt, jak je jednotliva barva v obrazku zastoupena :)
