English term or phrase: clear coat
Mám jen řetězec bez kontextu. Je z ovladače tiskárny a pravděpodobně označuje druh média. Je to bezbarvý lak? Dostal jsem k tomu následující vysvětlení:

“Clear Coat” is the name of the feature that applies a clear, toner-ish material over the page – “Full Page Flood” is the industry term for pages that have been coated in such a way. My understanding is that a print operator would understand the feature as “Clear Coat” but a customer would likely ask for “Full Page Flood”.

Lak mi na to úplně nesedí. Viz také můj další dotaz na "Full Page Flood".

To zní jako byste se skoro omlouval, že jste si vybral správně...
Ať to komu sedeí nebo nesedí, je to prostě terminus technikus, nic víc nic míň... obecně se v tiskařině dá doporučit terminologie Heidelbergu.
Naopak na spatlaniny firem, které zpod stolů PC občas nakukují do světa profi tisku pozor.
