English term or phrase: Bookings
In regards the term "bookings" Players are cautioned with a yellow card, and sent off with a red card. In association football (soccer), a yellow card is shown by the referee to indicate that a player has been officially cautioned. The player's details are then (traditionally) recorded by the referee in a small notebook; hence a caution is also known as a BOOKING.

agree  Prokop Vantuch: termín "boking" pochází z fráze "to go into the (referee's) book". tzn., že pokud hráč dostane žlutou/červenou kartu, tak si jeho číslo a minutu přestupku rozhodčí zapíše do své "knížečky". proto termín "booking" ;)
